What to Expect from SRBC

If you are thinking about visiting Statesville Road Baptist Church, you may be wondering what to expect.  To help you feel more comfortable, here are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions:

What time does the service begin?  Our Sunday School Classes begin at 9:45am and the Morning Worship Service at 11:00am.

What about child care?  We have a gracious staff of volunteers that provide child care during the worship service for children birth through age 5.  We provide age graded child care to ensure that the needs of children are adequately taken care of.  In addition, we offer "Children's Church" which allows kids from Kindergarten - 2nd Grade to experience the praise and worship time of the big worship service and then a lesson that is just their size.

Does everyone dress up?  On any given Sunday morning, you will see some people wearing a dress or a suit and others wearing khakis or jeans and neither feels out of place.  We believe the Lord desires us to dress modestly, but this doesn't require a suit!

What is the music like?  The music at SRBC is an intentional blend of contemporary worship, praise choruses and a selection of hymns. Our worship leader and praise team direct the congregational worship each Sunday morning.  The goal is to point the entire congregation to a meaningful, intimate and personal worship encounter with God. We believe this involves appealing to a variety of musical preferences.

Where do I go when I visit?  When you arrive at SRBC, you will find parking spaces reserved for guests near the main entrance to the sanctuary.  As you enter the building, before both Sunday School and the morning worship service, you will encounter a greeter that will guide you and help answer any of your questions.

WE HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON !!
